How to Lose Calve Fat Fast



Did you ever envy those people with sexy calves? Do you look at your calves and just see fat with little or no shape? Don't
despair, you can lose your calve fat fast. There are a few simple exercises that you can do to concentrate your efforts on your
calves. With a healthy diet and these exercises, you will develop sexier calves and lose the extra fat.
All of the following calve exercises are simple to do, and can be performed in a gym with equipment, or at home with dumbbells. You can
also do these workout without added resistance as well, because your body can create the resistance needed to strengthen the calve muscles.
Standing calve raise. Place the balls of your feet on a foot block. Your feet should be about shoulder's width apart, and you
knees should be straight. Make sure that your toes are pointing forward as well. Keeping your whole body straight, lower your heels
as far as they can go. After one second, slowly rise up on your toes as high as you can go. Hold that position for on second and
slowly lower all the way back down as far as you can. Repeat the motion. Make sure that you don't slip off the block! In a gym,
the machine for this exercise will add pressure to the shoulders to increase the resistance. Make sure that your shoulders are comfortable
under the padding.
Seated calve raise. This exercise involves the same exact motions as the standing calve raise, only this exercise is done while you are
seated. Sitting down, place the balls of your feet on the foot block. Your feet should be about shoulder's width apart, and you knees
should be bent in front of you. Again, make sure that your toes are pointing forward. Lower your heels as far as they can go, hold,
and lift up onto your toes as high as you can go. Do this slowly. The machine for this at the gym will have weighted pads that will
sit on your knees. Make sure that they are evenly and comfortably placed on your knees. You can also place dumbbells on your thighs
near your knees to create resistance if you don't have access to a machine. Make sure that you hold them in place so that they do not fall
on your feet!
Single standing calve raise. This is a more intense workout that works on either the right or left calve, one at a time. Instead
of placing the balls of both feet on the block, you will only place one. Make sure that you hold onto something to keep your balance.
Lower your heel as far as it can go, hold, then stand on the ball of your foot as high as you can go. Repeat this several times and then
switch to the other side.
For lower intensity calve exercise, stand with your feet shoulder's width apart. With you toes facing forward and your knees straight,
slowly rise to the balls of your feet. Hold the position for a second or two, and slowly lower back down to the floor. In this
exercise, your body is the only resistance.
After doing these calve fat burning exercises, it is important to stretch. In order to avoid cramping and straining, you should do some
calve stretches before and after these exercises. If you calves are sore the next day, you did a great job, and should rest them.
After resting for a day, you can perform the exercises again. Walking is also very good for your calves, so go for a nice walk once in a
while. These exercises will definitely help you lose calve fat, and tone them to make them look sexy.
