How to Lose Chest Fat Fast

There are a few different ways to work out your chest. You can go to the gym and use the machines, or you can use dumbbells at
home. You can even work your chest muscles without any machines or weights at all. If you want to lose chest fat, however, you are
going to have to lose weight overall.
Spot reducing, or losing weight in a single part of the body, is not realistic. If you are to effectively lose chest fat, it will take
an overall loss of fat in your body. If you lose weight, your chest fat will also reduce.
The science of losing weight is much simpler than the reality of losing weight. Eat less and exercise more. That is the general
idea. The reality is a bit more complicated. You have to make sure that you eat enough to stay healthy, yet not too much. You
have to exercise enough to burn the fat, but not so much that you become exhausted. You need balance.
Here are some chest exercises and some fat loss dieting tips.
Chest Exercises
- Bench press - If you go to a gym, or have a machine, you can do bench presses to work your chest muscles. This
will help to burn some chest fat and keep the pectoral muscles tone.
- Cable chest Press - You need a machine for this exercise as well. You will sit up with the cables behind
you. You will grab the cables with both hands and pull them in front of you.
- Push-ups - Most people are familiar with good old fashioned push-ups. They still work, so don't be afraid to try
them.
- Dumbbell fly - The dumbbell fly is done laying down. You should be on your back with your knees bent
comfortably. Grab the weights. You arms should be extended as if you are about to hug a barrel or a large tree. You should
bend the elbows slightly, to support the weight. Use your chest muscles to bring the dumbbells up and together above as if your arms
are now around the barrel or tree. Then lower them back down. Repeat these actions.
- Cable fly - This exercise is just like the dumbbell fly, only you will use cables. It is done in the same position
with the same motions.
Diet
In order to lose chest fat, you have to eat. That means starving yourself is ineffective in proper and speedy weight loss. If you
don't eat, your metabolism will slow down. The other important fact is, you have to eat the right foods in order to lose weight.
In order to lose fat, you have to eat fat. The proper fat, that is. Monounsaturated fat is the healthiest kind of fat that you can
have. It is found in peanut oil, olive oil, avocados, and flaxseed oil. There are several other sources of this kind of fat.
Make an effort to have some small amounts of these types of fat, and avoid saturated fats, found in regular dairy products, meats, and most snack
foods like potato chips and cookies.
In order to chest fat, you have to eat carbohydrates. The proper carbohydrates, that is. Try to eat complex carbohydrates and
avoid some of the simple carbohydrates. Most baked goods that are not whole grain are refined and contain very little nutrients.
These things also contain sugars that just end up being stored as fat on the body. Make a point to eat less white bread products and less
sweets. Eat real oats, rye, whole wheat, and wild or brown rice. The body works harder to break these carbs down, and you will
burn more than you will store.
